Applications are now open for the prestigious TaDA Residency 2027 (Textile and Design Alliance) in Switzerland. International Open Call for Artists 2026: Exhibit Your Art in Seoul, South Korea

Artists from across the globe are invited to participate in an international contemporary art exhibition taking place in Seoul, South Korea, from 2–6 September 2026. The exhibition aims to bring together creative voices from different cultures and artistic backgrounds, offering a unique opportunity to showcase artwork in one of Asia's most dynamic cultural destinations.

Whether you are an emerging artist, an established professional, or an independent creative practitioner, this open call provides an opportunity to present your work to an international audience and connect with fellow artists from around the world.

Artwork Submission Guidelines

To facilitate exhibition planning and transportation, artists are encouraged to follow the recommended size specifications.

Paintings, Drawings and Mixed Media Works

Wall-mounted artworks should generally not exceed a maximum long side of 100 cm.

Photography

Photographic works should remain within a maximum long side measurement of 100 cm.

Sculpture

Three-dimensional works should ideally remain within:

  • Maximum height: 70 cm
  • Maximum width: 50 cm
  • Maximum weight: 5 kg


Artists with larger works are still encouraged to apply. Artworks exceeding the standard size recommendations may be accepted up to a maximum long side of 150 cm, subject to transportation and installation requirements established by the exhibition organizers.

Shipping and Delivery Options

Participants may choose the delivery method that best suits their location and artwork requirements.



Group Shipping Service

Artists can send approved artworks to a centralized collection facility, where works are consolidated and transported to Seoul as part of a group shipment. This option simplifies international logistics and handling procedures.

The organizer's shipping coordination service requires a contribution fee of €75 per artist for eligible artworks that meet the approved shipping requirements.



Direct Shipment to Seoul

Artists who prefer independent shipping arrangements may send their works directly to the designated storage facility in Seoul according to the instructions provided after selection.

This option may also be suitable for oversized works that fall outside the group shipping guidelines.



Personal Delivery

Artists traveling to South Korea may personally deliver their artworks to the exhibition venue during the official installation period before the exhibition opens.



Multimedia and Digital Artwork Requirements

The exhibition also welcomes multimedia submissions.

Accepted formats include:

  • Digital Photography
  • Video Art
  • Multimedia Projects
  • NFT Artworks

For exhibition-quality presentation, submitted files should maintain a minimum resolution of 300 DPI wherever applicable.



Participation Fee

Submitting an application does not automatically require exhibition participation.

Artists selected for the exhibition will have the option to confirm their participation. For those who choose to take part, the participation fee starts from €590, depending on the exhibition package and participation arrangements offered by the organizers.
